This is quite honestly my favorite room I’ve ever done! When we found out we were having another boy, I knew we would be moving Harper to the upstairs guest bedroom which has it’s own bathroom (the boys will share a Jack and Jill bathroom). If you’ve been following along, you know I just did a room makeover for her about 6 months ago, but didn’t do any color in her room. I was VERY early pregnant at that point and knew that moving her was a possibility so that was why I decided not to paint then (I’m SO glad I waited).
This time, and knowing that she will be in here for a while (maybe until she goes to college), I wanted to fully commit to turning this into a room designed just for HER. I knew I wanted color. I knew I wanted pattern. I knew I wanted her to be involved in the process this time around. Surprising her with her last room was great, but I wanted her to see the hard work and time that goes into doing something like this in your home.
